church wedding songs and hymns (part 3)

If you're just arriving, this is the fourth in a series of posts on music for

Irish wedding ceremonies

You might like to start at the beginning and read previous posts about one of the most popular irish wedding song  choices and follow up with a post detailing the format of the wedding ceremony and the places within the ceremony where you can include music (church wedding songs and hymns part 1) .
Part 2 in the series gives examples of instrumental music you can use for the brides entrance to the church.

Some of the most popular

wedding songs and hymns

for the processional include:

Nella Fantasia

Bach's Jesu Joy of mans desiring .

Songbird by Eva cassidy

A thousand years by Christina Perry

Footprints in the sand

I simply live for you by Hillsong

So there you go just a few choices for the processional, I've kept them as varied as possible so that you can make a choice as to what sort of music you would like at your wedding. A soloist, string quartet, organist ect. Your wedding musician will guide you through all the other music choices available through out the service....there are a lot of choices available.
